Our Infant Classroom cares for children starting at 6 weeks old through 12 months old. 

In the Infant Room, the child’s health, safety, and general welfare will be the first consideration of the teachers in the room.  Care of infants will be consistent and reliable; that is, they will not change drastically from day to day. The teachers will strive to keep each child on the schedule that they are used to at home, keeping in consideration that they are in a different environment.  The daily routine and record of the day’s activities will be recorded and sent home each day. This will include but not limited to: Food (time, type, amount), naps (asleep to awake time, interval sleep checks), Diaper changes (time, type), any medication given, outside play time, and general comments on activities, unusual behavior, milestones, etc.

Infant curriculum daily activities in the areas of gross and fine motor, sensory, language and literature, and music. Infant lessons plans are posted in the classroom and distributed to the parents. 

The cost per week is $295 per week. There is not an option for part-time care in the infant room at this time.

In the Toddler Room, the ages range from 12 months (walking) to 2 years. The toddler room provides theme-based learning, providing daily opportunities and activities, and interactions. 

This includes the following:

• Frequent face to face interactions

• Reading and looking at books

• Encouraging children to play with one another with adult help

• Providing materials, sights, sounds, and other experiences for toddlers to explore with all the senses

• Providing opportunities for children to walk, run, climb, stack, and balance in order to develop fine and large motor skills

• Providing opportunities for children to scribble and draw in order to develop fine and

• Encouraging language experiences

• Supporting development of independence and mastery of feeding and dressing and other skills

Each week the teachers plan a theme that focuses on curriculum in the following areas:  art, sensory, language and literacy, social emotional, fine and gross motor, dramatic play, construction/blocks, science, music, math/manipulatives, food exploration, and outdoor experiences.

Tuition for the Toddler room is $283 per week for fulltime students.

Our Preschool Classroom is for children 2 to 4 years of age.  The preschool room provides theme-based learning, providing daily opportunities, activities, and interactions. 

This includes:  

• Reading and looking at books

• Using Rhymes and Songs and other ways to help children connect sounds and letters and other literacy skills

• Supporting social competence through play and cooperative work with other children

• Providing sights, sounds, and other experiences for children to investigate and discuss

• Providing opportunities for children to walk, run, climb, stack, and balance to develop large motor skills

• Providing opportunities for children to practice pre-writing and beginning writing skills.

• Encouraging language experiences

• Supporting development of independence and mastery of self-help skills including beginning potty training.

Each week the teachers plan a theme that focus on curriculum in the following areas:  art, sensory, language and literacy, social emotional, fine and gross motor, dramatic play, construction/blocks, science, music, math/manipulatives, food exploration, and outdoor experiences.

Tuition for full time students in the Preschool Room is $276 per week.

Our preschool classroom is for children 4 years of age (potty trained).  The preschool 4 room provides theme-based learning, providing daily opportunities, activities, and interactions. 

This includes:  

• Reading and looking at books

• Using Rhymes and Songs and other ways to help children connect sounds and letters and other literacy skills

• Supporting social competence through play and cooperative work with other children

• Providing sights, sounds, and other experiences for children to investigate and discuss

• Providing opportunities for children to walk, run, climb, stack, and balance in order to develop fine and large motor skills

• Providing opportunities for children to practice pre-writing and beginning writing skills.

• Encouraging language experiences

• Supporting development of independence and mastery of self-help skills

Tuition for full time students in the Preschool 4 Room is $271 per week.

Our Prekindergarten Classroom ages range between 4 and 5 ½ years of age. In preparation for kindergarten, the Pre-K Room provides theme-based learning, providing daily opportunities, activities, and interactions. 

This includes:  

• Reading and looking at books and other language materials

• Using Rhymes and songs and other ways to help children connect sounds and letters and other literacy skills

• Supporting social competence and problem solving through play and cooperative work with other children

• Providing materials, sights, sounds, and other experiences for children to investigate and discuss

• Providing opportunities for children to walk, run, climb, stack, balance, write, and draw in order to develop fine and large motor skills

• Providing opportunities for children to practice pre-writing and beginning writing skills.

• Encouraging language experiences

• Supporting development of independence and mastery of self-help skills

Each week the teacher plans a theme that focus on curriculum in the following areas:  art, sensory, language and literacy, social emotional, fine and gross motor, dramatic play, construction/blocks, science, music, math/manipulatives, food exploration, and outdoor experiences.

Tuition for students in the Prekindergarten Room is $259 for fulltime. 

We offer School-Age care throughout the year in the form of before and after care and drop in days. All transportation to and from Holly Oak and the child's school needs to be organized by the parent. Holly Oak is an approved bus stop for Brandywine School District, but needs to be arranged by the parent before the start of the new school year.

Before and After Care is $300 per month

Before Care only is $100 per month

After Care only is $200 per month

Drop In Days are $65 per day

Vacation Week Drop Ins are $260 per week.

Tuition to Holly Oak Child Care Center does include a morning snack, nutritious lunch, and afternoon snack.

The center is open from 7 a.m. through 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and is closed on major holidays.

Sibling Discounts:

A sibling discount of 15% is provided for a second or third child from the same family enrolled in the center.  The 15% is deducted from the tuition of the youngest child. 

Part-time options:

A child is considered part-time if he/she attends the center two or three days full fixed days a week. There are two alternating part time spots per classroom beginning at the age of 12 months.  Part-time care applies only to the toddler, preschool, and prekindergarten classrooms.

½ Day (under 5 hours): $65
Full Day: $70

Holly Oak Child Care Center does not participate in Purchase of Care.
